1. According to this article in the Dallas Morning News "Dallas-Fort Worth home prices were up nearly 3% ... D-FW’s largest annual home price increase in a year." Even with interest rates, home values are still on the rise and our market is still experiencing a housing shortage.
2. In addition, Real Estate investors are not afraid and are moving full speed ahead with plans to buy more homes in 2024. A recent headline in the DMN states D-FW Real Estate Investors still hot on D-FW it provides additional details such as "Investors also reported in the survey they felt D-FW is the most attractive market in the country for investment."
3. Finally, this story in the Dallas Business Journal states that the best time to sell your home is the week of April 14th-20th. "That timeframe combines an optimal mix of high list prices, buyer demand and quicker sales, in addition to fewer price reductions and less competition from other sellers." Getting ahead of the summer rush is always a smart idea.
