The City of Desoto LOVES and supports its Veterans. They believe in the old adage "Give your heroes flowers when they can still smell them".
Every third Saturday of the month, the Desoto Veterans Affairs Committee and the Desoto Public Library partner with North Texas VA Outreach Services to bring VA representatives to Desoto.
Available services include:
- Applying for VA benefits
- Counseling for PTSD and other mental health concerns
- Understanding the "Final Arrangement" process
- Services available for Homeless Veterans
If you, or a veteran you know, need help applying for benefits, have been denied benefits, or have questions join us on Saturday, February 22nd between 10AM and 1PM at the Desoto Public Library located at 211 E.
