We could ALL USE a break. You may be tired of sheltering in place, you may be tired of our 24 hour news cycle, or you may be tired of our new normal. Well I've got a solution for you, and its truly a throwback.
How can you and your family get out of the house, catch a movie, AND maintain social distancing?
You can come check out The Galaxy Drive In Theater right down the street in Ellis County. As noted in this article in The Dallas Morning News tickets are $8 for adults, and $4 for children. To maintain social distancing rules the concession stand is closed and children are not allowed to play outside of the vehicle. However you can bring your own snacks/food and watch from the tailgate of your SUV/bed of your truck if you need fresh air. The drive in is open 7 nights a week, and showtimes start at 8:30PM. However they advise you get there early (i.e. at least an hour) as it is first come first serve, and tickets are ONLY sold at the box office!
